METHOD OF OPERATION

To carry out the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:19-20, Luke 14:23)


I. To Evangelize and Minister to the Needs of the Immediate Community.  (I Cor. 9:19-22)
A. Door to door witnessing (Soul Winning)
B. Passing out tracks (Soul Winning)
C. Outdoor services (Church Outdoors)
D. Day Care Center (To service our congregation and immediate community.  To be cost-effective and provide jobs.)
E. Develop follow-up teams (Calls and/or written correspondence)
F. Initial counseling as far as salvation is concerned.

II. To Equip and Arm Saints for the Work of the Ministry.  (Ephesians 4:11-12; II Timothy 2:2)
(Even if it means breaking down denominational & traditional barriers)
A. New Member’s Class - Genesis (Every member should attend.  This lays the foundation)
B. Evangelism Class (Beginner)
C. Evangelism Class (Advanced)   
D. Children’s Church
E. Pastor’s Bible Study
F. Youth Ministry
G. Young Adult Ministry (18-35)
H. 30/40 Something Ministry (36-49)
I. Classic Christians (50+)  

III. To Encourage the Membership to be Workers - Not Just Pew Sitters (James 2:20)
A. Many hands will mean lighter work for everyone.
B. It gives or promotes a sense of belonging.
C. It gives members a chance to work together and get to know each other.
D. It provides the opportunity for Christian Fellowship.

V. Transportation Ministry (16 passenger van)
A. To provide transportation for members to and from services and other church related functions.
B. To provide transportation for members (especially youth) to and from events and functions held in other locations - bowling, roller skating, Youth Department events, etc.

VI. Social Action Ministry
A. G.E.D. Program
B. Establish Remedial Reading courses
C. Computer Lab (Teachers needed)
D. Establish a Tutoring Program for our youth who are struggling academically.
